Katherine Daily 2014 Graduates from UConn

Katherine Daily, Class of 2014, graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing. During her four years in Storrs, she was briefly a photographer for the campus newspaper, joined Alpha Phi Omega, the national service fraternity, and swam for the UConn club swim team. As a member of Alpha Phi Omega, Katherine participated in many fundraising activities, but her favorite role was serving as one of the handlers for Jonathan, the Husky mascot, accompanying him to athletic and other school events. In her senior year, Katherine was secretary of the club swim team. She also competed in the national collegiate club swim championships in Atlanta her last three years. Starting this summer, Katherine will be working as a nurse in the Cardiac Step-Down LVAD unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
