What's Happening In Our Halls

Our Lower School faculty act as mentors, cheerleaders, instructors, and sources of empathy and understanding.
Our comprehensive reading program incorporates decades-long research regarding the best way to teach children phonemic awareness and reading skills.
With nurturing educators by their side, our youngest students in our Early Childhood Program feel safe and comfortable expressing themselves and discovering their first interests and talents.
The Lower School science curricula is rooted in the natural curiosity of young children and housed in our Bayer Family Lower School Science Center.
Our math program is designed to empower children to master mathematical concepts through interactive activities that engage every learner.
Our performing, music, and fine arts programs bring life to the academic curriculum and enable students to discover their artistic gifts.
We form partnerships with the best resources in the area, such as iconic Mystic Seaport, to bring learning to life for our students.
To promote deeper learning, the use of developmentally appropriate technology and multi-sensory tools are used daily in the classroom.
Our youngest and most enthusiastic minds are exposed to world languages and many other global projects to develop a multicultural perspective.
