In early May, we shared the challenging news that due to COVID-19, Christopher Lukas Bellis, Class of 1981, had to close down his Bed & Breakfast in scenic North Conway, N.H. This week we are delighted to share Christopher’s good news—that the Cranmore Inn will be able to accept guests from the State of New Hampshire beginning Friday, June 5.
Ashley Luchini, Class of 2016, graduated in May 2020 with a nursing degree from Fairfield University and has accepted a position as a labor and delivery nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has been working as a patient care assistant (PCA) at Yale but the onslaught of COVID-19 thrust Ashley into the midst of the healthcare crisis at the hospital.
Nolan Rich, Class of 2009 and host of Rich Sports Talk, recently interviewed fellow Hamden Hall alumnus Christian Montano, Class of 2014, on his entry into the NFL. Christian recently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent.
Hamden Hall was recently informed that Franklin Howard Rose, Class of 1953, died on Sept. 29, 2018. His wife Jeanne told us that "Howard," who started Hamden Hall in the fifth grade, cherished Hamden Hall and spoke often about his days "under the pines," and how Hamden Hall changed his life! He wanted to acknowledge the positive impact Hamden Hall made on his life and has remembered his alma mater with a planned gift.

Eleanor "Sally" Grant Grave, Class of 1965, died on May 5, 2020. Sally was the daughter-in-law of the late Dorothy Solakian Grave, Hamden Hall Class of 1944, and the sister-in-law of Hamden Hall Alumni Fred Grave, Class of 1972, and his wife, Sally Guyott Grave, Class of 1973.
