Message from the Hamden Hall Parents’ Association

September 2025

Dear Hamden Hall Families,

On behalf of the Hamden Hall Parents’ Association, we welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year! We look forward to reconnecting with returning families and would like to welcome all of the new families to our community. The goal of the Parents’ Association is to connect our parent community, foster an inclusive and positive school spirit, and build relationships through our events and fundraisers. Throughout the school year we host a variety of traditional fundraising events which include Picture Day, a Thanksgiving Pie Sale, and a Mother’s Day Plant Sale. These fundraisers help support the Back to School Night receptions as well as the Friday assemblies for our lower, middle, and upper school children throughout the year. We are also at the home football games at the concession stand helping raise money for different initiatives at our school. We support and show our appreciation to the committed faculty and staff by hosting a breakfast during staff appreciation week. We also host a reception at our Hamden Hall graduation for our seniors and their families.

We welcome all of you to attend our first Parents’ Association Meeting of the year which will be held on September 10th at 7 pm in the Swain Library. Come hear about everything going on across the three divisions at Hamden Hall, and how you can get involved. We will also be hosting our annual complimentary Welcome Back Parent Social for all of our parents on October 9th at 6 pm on our Hamden Hall terrace in front of the cafeteria, which is a wonderful way for parents to socialize, reconnect and meet other parents. Mission of the Hamden Hall Parents' Association


  • To build positive school spirit and nurture parent-to-parent and school-to-parent communication. 
  • To provide an avenue through which parents may be of service to the school. 
  • To provide an avenue through which the needs and desires of the parents may be known to the Board of Trustees and Head of School. 
  • To raise funds in conjunction with school-wide development policies and programs.

    We invite all Hamden Hall families to attend our Welcome Back Social on October 9 at 6 p.m. on our new terrace in front of the cafeteria. It's a wonderful way for parents to socialize and reconnect and meet other parents while enjoying lite bites and refreshments under the pines. We look forward to seeing you there.
