Bill Hadden III 1977 Update
As the excitement builds for Hamden Hall’s 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame Awards on April 14, we are reaching out to honorees to share updates. Bill Hadden III, Class of 1977, will be among some 25 players and coaches who will be honored that evening as we recognize the Ice Hockey Teams from 1976 to 1979. Bill lives in a Manchester, Vt., with his wife, Sarah, now married 32 years. The couple has three children, Will, Carey, and Whitney. Bill notes that Whitney, their youngest, is a junior at Bates College.Bill works in the wealth management business, now in his 34th year. He manages an office for Stifel Financial in Manchester, and he still enjoys a round of golf. Bill reports that Sarah runs a nonprofit called the KURA Project—based in Northern Kenya—that has a dual mission. KURA raises scholarship money to help students attend high school, while also supplying products for female hygiene kits that allows young girls to remain in school. We thank Bill for his update and hope he sends us a recent family photo. In the meantime, he’s pictured here as a 1977 Hornet.
