Hornet 'Sweatshirt' on International TV

Jodi Amatulli
Here’s some alumni news with a twist! It all started when Hamden Hall Past Parent Miriam Fried emailed the Alumni Office a screen shot of “someone” wearing a Hamden Hall sweatshirt during the recent filming of a cooking show in Hungary. Miriam believed the mystery man was the brother of Daniel Horvath, Hamden Hall Class of 2012, who is a classmate of Miriam’s daughter, Simone. Simone helped to confirm the identification. Pictured is Daniel’s twin brother, Mark Horvath. Although Mark never attended Hamden Hall, he wore our name proudly during a taping of Andrew Zimmer's Food Show in Budapest. Good detective work, Miriam, and thanks for sharing some fun international exposure for our school. (Miriam is also the mother of Hamden Hall alumus Ben Fried 2009.) As for Daniel, he reports that he’s working at Hamden Hall one day a week with the Facilities Department while preparing to take the CPA exam in November. He plans to move to Stamford in July to be closer to the “Big Four” accounting firms.
