Sara Bennett, Hamden Hall Class of 2014, was chosen as a 2015-2016 Wesleyan University Scholar-Athlete for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and on the playing field. As a sophomore, she started every game and was an integral contributor to the renewed growth of the Women's Lacrosse program, winning the 2016 Most Improved Player award. She was selected to the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Spring All-Academic Team. On the other side of the spectrum, as an economics major, Sara maintained a 4.0 in the classroom and qualified to be placed on the Dean’s List. In addition, the lady Cardinal is an eco facilitator for the second year and is a psychology teaching assistant and a community advisor, one of two female juniors to be offered the position for 2016-2017.
