Jay Moran 2015 Awarded at Trinity
Jay Moran, Hamden Hall Class of 2015, was honored at the Trinity College 66th Annual End of Year Honors Day ceremony with an academic award. Jay, who just completed his freshman year, was awarded the Lisa P. Nestor Chemistry Award that is given annually for outstanding achievement and excellence in General Chemistry. Jay, who is a pre-medical student and Biochemistry major, was also named to the Dean's faculty list for students with GPA's above 3.7. In addition, Jay has been instrumental in organizing a SAND chapter at Trinity. SAND is a non-profit organization whose mission is to spread awareness and provide research funding for Neurodegenerative diseases.
