Former Hornet Standout Recognized in Sophomore Year
Christian Montano, Class of 2014, was honored at the Brown University Football banquet with an award.
Held in February, the annual awards banquet celebrated the Brown Bears' 2015 football season. Christian was awarded the Kevin T. Slattery 1976 Award, which is presented to a member of the team "who displays the best overall combination of leadership, academic performance, and football potential in the earliest phase of his Brown career," according to a statement by the school.
Christian is currently a sophomore at Brown and is an offensive lineman. While playing for the Hornets, Christian was the team's center and captain in his senior year. Additionally, he was recognized as a First Team All Fairchester Offensive Center and First Team All New England Offensive Center.
