Konstantinos "Gus" Vasilopoulos died November 13, 2016. He was the father of James "Jimmy" Vasilopoulos, Class of 1987.
Sophie Helen Bednarczyk Losaw died November 11, 2016. She was the mother of William "Bill" Losaw, Class of 1954.
Janet Riether Perrotti died September 4, 2016. She was the mother of Ann "Annie" Perrotti 2009.
Sheila Swain died September 10, 2016. Sheila was the wife of Hamden Hall Trustee Emeritus, Terry Swain. She was the mother of Lisa Woodfield 1981 (Edward), and Kevin Swain 1992 (Karen), and grandmother of Maya Swain 2024, and Alexa Swain 2028. Daughter-in-law Karen is a Hamden Hall faculty member.
Patrick James Eves died Aug. 14, 2016. Patrick was the brother of faculty member Kathy McNeiece (Charles). He was also the uncle of Aibhlinn McNeiece 2027 and Michael McNeiece 2029.
Mary Elizabeth Shaw died Aug. 11, 2016. "Betty" was the mother of past parent Nancy Shaw Gardiner (Steven). She was also the grandmother of Jill Gardiner 2012.
Rita Novella Brustman died Aug. 8, 2016. Rita was the mother of Hamden Hall staff member Marianne Onorato (Joseph). She was also the grandmother of Jeffrey Onorato 2009.
Gayle Sirkin died Aug. 3, 2016. Gayle was the wife of past parent Ryszard Szczypek. She was also the mother of Benjamin Szczypek 2001 and Jacob Szczypek 2003.
Clarence Brustman died Aug. 2, 2016. "Larry" was the father of Hamden Hall staff member Marianne Onorato (Joseph). He was also the grandfather of Jeffrey Onorato 2009.
John Krick, Sr. died June 26, 2016. John was the father of past parent Suzanne Greenawalt (faculty member John Greenawalt) and former faculty member and past parent Laura Hurwitz (Samuel). He was also the grandfather of Jacob Hurwitz 2004, John Greenawalt 2008, and Micah Hurwitz 2012.
Richard S. Sloan died June 16, 2016. Richard was the husband of past parent Susan Sloan. He was also the father of Brett Sloan 1998 and Dana Sloan 2001.
Christina Enroth-Cugell died June 15. Christina was the wife of Dr. David Cugell 1940.

Dr. Jack Hauser died June 5, 2016. Jack was the husband of past parent Debra Hauser. He was also the father of past parent Elizabeth Hauser of the Class of 2006, and grandparent of DiYana Jones from the Class of 2019.
Irving Spivack died May 30, 2016. Irving was the father of Susan Spivack Bennett 1973 (David Bennett, current faculty member) and David Spivack 1978 (Lynda). He was also the grandfather of Ross Bennett 2006 and Sara Bennett 2014.
Murray Zeidenberg died May 30, 2016. Murray was the father of past parent, Sherry Shanbrom (Lawrence). He was also the grandfather of Benjamin Shanbrom 2007 and Jacob Shanbrom 2012.
Carole Margaret Wulster died May 28, 2016. Carole was the wife of past parent William Wulster. She was also the mother of Meghan Wulster-Radcliffe 1991 and Noah Wulster from the class of 1996.
Randi Joseph Brandt died May 12, 2016. Randi was the sister of Laurie Joseph 1969 and the daughter of past parent Selma Joseph.
Jay David Jamron died May 2, 2016. Jay was the brother of past parent Lisa Jarmon and son of past grandparents Marvin and Marcia Jamron. He was also the uncle of Zachary Reiner 2005 and Gregory Reinder 2009.
Jose' Rivera-Mendez died April 28, 2016. Jose' was a long-time employee of Hamden Hall.
Livia D’Anna died in Cagliari, Italy, on April 15, 2016. Livia was the mother of trustee and past parent Gisella Caccone (Jeffrey Powell.) She was also the grandmother of Alessandro Powell 2010 and Luca Powell 2012.
Mary Coppage died April 19, 2016. Mary was the mother of parent Elizabeth Brause and mother-in-law of David Brause 1982. She was also the grandmother of Joshua Brause 2019.
Samuel G. Merriam died April 17, 2016. Samuel was the father of past parent, Larry Merriam (Sheila). He was also the grandfather of Daniel Merriam (2004) and Rachel Merriam 2009.

Catherine Idone died Jan. 12, 2016. "Dolly" was the mother of past parent Vincent Idone (Jo-Ann) and grandmother of Vincent Idone 1997. She was also the great-aunt of Leo Tancreti (2004) and Joseph Tancreti (2005.)
Robert Horvath died Jan. 10, 2016. Bobby was the husband of past parent Kathleen Horvath. He was also the father of Dennis Ryan 1993, Kara Horvath 1999, and Stephen Horvath 2004.

Dr. Milton Lisansky died June 13, 2014. He was the father of Judith Lisansky 1968 and Eugene Lisansky 1972. He was the former husband of Dr. Edith Lisanksy who was a former Hamden Hall psychologist.
