Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey are Season Champions
The Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey Team welcomed Fairchester Athletic Association League rival St. Luke’s School for the final game of the regular season on Friday, February 16, winning 4-2.
Taking the ice, senior Jake Cacace and sophomore Vincenzo Federico both scored two goals respectively to win the game. With the win, the Hornets are now the #1 seed in the FAA and have advanced to the semifinal tournament. The team hosts #4 seed Greenwich Country Day School on Thursday, February 22, at 6 p.m. at Blake Rink.
In addition to the win, the team celebrated Senior Night and honored players Jake Cacace and Danny Vining. Coach Tim Belcher thanked the two players for their contributions throughout the season and wished them the best of luck on all future endeavors.
