League Win for Boys’ Varsity Basketball
The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team traveled to Rye Country Day School for a Fairchester Athletic Association League game on Saturday, February 10, winning 54-49.
Senior and captain Ryan Stratton led the team with 16 points while fellow senior Alex Prezioso scored 10 points and junior Nate McCleery scored 7 points.
It was a battle in the second half between the Hornets and the Wildcats before seniors Ethan Bessoni, Mason Gorham, and Mark Schoonmaker all netted points to help the team secure the final win.
“Great road win against Rye,” commented Coach Sean Doherty.
The team returns to the court for an away game against Greens Farms Academy on Tuesday, February 13, at 5:15 p.m.
