Varsity Ice Hockey Cruises to Victory
The Varsity Ice Hockey Team welcomed Cheshire High School at the Hamden Louis Astorino Ice Arena on Monday, January 22, winning 7-1.
The Hornets were off to a strong start as the team scored three goals in the first two minutes of the first period. Sophomore Noah Bush scored two goals on the offensive side as junior Spencer Schoen and eighth-grader Diego Lebron each landed a goal each to pick up the win.
“Great team win,” commented Coach Tim Belcher.
The team travels to the SoNo Ice House for a road game against St. Luke’s School on Wednesday, January 24, at 3:20 p.m.
