Statistics Degree for 2019 Alumna

Class of 2019 alumna Wenxin “Lana” Lan graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and machine learning.

During her time in school, Wenxin worked as an event liaison at the Center of Events and Conferences where she aided in the coordination of campus recruiting events. She also worked in the CMU Office of Research Systems and Operation as an IT student worker where she helped with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues along with building and maintaining the IT equipment as needed.

Wenxin currently works as a project manager at New York Life Insurance Company in New York City.
