Class of 2008 Alumnus Travels Down Telehealth Path

The commitment to helping others and bettering the healthcare system has led Class of 2008 alumnus Royce Brunson to take on the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Health Recovery Solutions, a digital company that supplies remote monitoring and telehealth solutions to healthcare providers.

As the CRO, Royce manages large cross-functional teams and leads all of the commercial functions for the company, which include developing and executing marketing strategies, revenue and sale operations, client consulting, partnerships, and overall business development. 

In addition to his work at Health Recovery Solutions, Royce serves as an advisor to several digital health companies where he helps build and guide the team from the ground up with a focus on driving business growth through revenue acquisition and retention.

“I love the daily impact on a growing business and how you can help develop and mentor employees,” said Royce. “There is a strong sense of accomplishment in scaling a business from its early stages through the M&A process.”

Royce said he has always been interested in the healthcare system because his parents were physicians. Following his graduation from Bryant University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA in international finance, Royce said he knew he wanted to help build a business rather than be part of a company.

“Healthcare is the one field I have always gravitated towards,” said Royce. “I knew the clinical path was not for me, but I wanted to be involved on the business side of healthcare.”

Royce and his wife Alyssa live in Huntington, N.Y., with their two sons Quinn and Eli. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
