On the Road Win for Girls’ Varsity Tennis

The Girls’ Varsity Tennis team traveled to Westover School for an afternoon game on Wednesday, May 11.
 
The team saw its winning streak continue as freshman Theodora Asland won her match with a score of 8-2, sophomore Rachel Danishevsky won her set with a score 8-0, and junior Vanessa Gold won her match 8-0.
 
The doubles team dominated with seventh-grader Rebecca Danishevsky and eighth-grader Addison Lewis winning their match 8-0 while senior Sophia Bannon and sophomore Shaina Patel won with the score 8-0. Senior Geraldi Nie and junior Vanessa Gold also won 8-0.
 
Coach Ansley Scudder commented how consistent the team has been and could not be prouder of the outcome. She said she looks forward to the same momentum in their next few matches.
 
The team returns to the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts to play against Rye Country Day School on Thursday, May 12, at 4:30 p.m.
