Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Hosts Senior Night Celebration

The Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse team celebrated senior players Becket du Bell, Lambert Yan, Matteo Romero, Paul Gregory, Colin Gore-Grimes, Max Fuoco, and Ethan Qian during a recent match on Tuesday, May 10.

 

Before the celebration, the team was game-ready and played against league opponent Rye Country Day School. It was a back-and-forth battle between the Hornets and the Wildcats, but the team could not hold up and lost 11-7.

 

The seniors were gifted with framed photos of their team and an individual picture before an end-of-game celebration with pizza and a speech made by junior captain John Golioto. All the senior parents were welcome to join the team on the turf for a team embrace.

 

Coach Kiernan Griffin commented he is proud of all the hard work the players put in throughout the season and said it was an honor being their coach.
