Middle Schoolers Enjoy SpringFest 2021

Middle School students were treated last week to their own “SpringFest,” which sported a music festival theme and the opportunity to tie-dye T-shirts.

“The amount of activities was staggering, and all of them were fun,” said Middle School Director Brian Christman. “Also, the workload that went into planning and prepping the event was incredible.”

Students were encouraged to dress up for the event and wear their favorite "music festival" gear, including an overall hippie aesthetic to donning a T-shirt representing their favorite band. Also on tap was the opportunity to tie-dye an article of clothing. Teachers made tie-dye kits for the occasion.

After trying their hand at a variety of games and activities such as Tik-Tok dance videos and Kahoot! trivia, students enjoyed a cookout – during which more than 100 people were served.

According to Mr. Christman, the special day was designed by faculty members Arijan Ager, Maria Agulian, Allison Ehrenreich, Karl Gasteyer, and Bud Kohler.
