Middle and Upper School Instrumental and Choral Students Dazzle in Winter Concert Performance

The sounds of the Middle and Upper School instrumental and choral students were melodic and magical as they dazzled audiences during their Winter Concert Series. The Instrumental Concert took place in the Taylor Performing Arts Center and the Choral Concert was performed at St. Rita's Church in Hamden.

The Instrumental Concert featured members of the Middle School Instrumental Ensemble, Upper School Concert Orchestra, and the Upper School Jazz Ensemble. The students performed a variety of pieces including The Ash Grove, Silent Night, Allegretto, from Symphony No. 7, and You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.

The Choral Concert featured members of the Middle School Choir and Upper School Choir with special guests, the Lower School Ringers and Singers. The performance featured a selection of pieces including Carol of the Bells by the US Regional Choir Representatives, Beat of a Different Drum, and VII. Domine Fili Unigenite from Gloria, RV 589. The concert concluded with an all-group performance of All I Want for Christmas is You. On hand for the performance as a collaborative pianist was alumna Alexis Zingale 1994.
