Boys’ Varsity Baseball Advances to FAA Final
The Boys’ Varsity Baseball Team won the Fairchester Athletic Association League semifinal game against St. Luke’s School on Tuesday, May 16, with a score of 2-0.
Junior Gavin Lyons took to the mound and pitched a complete game shutout and had two hits at the plate. Freshman Amato Civitello had two hits for the Hornets.
“I could not be more proud of this team,” commented Coach Brad Chernovetz.
The team advances to the Fairchester Athletic Association League finals on Thursday, May 18, at 4 p.m. at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex.
