Lindy Lee Gold 1962 Receives Community Service Award

Jodi Amatulli
Lindy Lee Gold, Hamden Hall Class of 1962, will be recognized by the Anti-Defamation League with a special award for a lifetime of community service on June 13 at the ADL’s Greater New Haven Torch of Liberty event. The honor acknowledges Lindy’s work with promoting intergroup relationships in the local community and across the state. At Hamden Hall, Lindy, an Alumni Association Councilor, is the recipient of a 2012 Alumni Achievement Award. This year, as in past milestone years, Lindy is chairing her 55th Class Reunion, and continually steps up across the board—not only as a donor, but carving out time from her astonishingly busy professional and civic schedule to serve Hamden Hall as a volunteer. Congratulations to Lindy on her well-deserved ADL community service award. She’s sharing the stage that evening, by the way, with Hamden Hall parents Tariq and Asma Farid of Edible Arrangements who will be honored with the Greater New Haven Torch of Liberty Award.
