Christian Montano 2014 Announces Engagement
Class of 2014 alumnus Christian Montano is happily engaged to fiancé Rachel Ugolik.
Christian proposed on November 13 on Marco Island Beach, Fla., while the two were on vacation. They live and work in New York City where Christian works as an investment banking analyst at Barclays and Rachel works as an account manager at NBC Sports.
The couple crossed paths throughout their lives as Rachel grew up in Hamden and is best friends with the daughter of Christian’s mom's best friend. After high school graduation, the two again crossed paths occasionally as Rachel attended Providence College and Christian attended Brown University. However, it was through gym training at Ranfone Training Systems, owned by fellow Hamden Hall alumnus Michael Ranfone 1998, that Christian asked Rachel out.
