Barbara Brandi, Past Parent

Barbara Brandi of Hamden died on November 4 at the age of 86. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Joseph. She is survived by her son, Michael Brandi, Hamden Hall alumnus Class of 1989, and five grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Barbara founded Brandi's Meat Market and Delicatessen in 1978 which they operated until 1991, and Joe's Place, a restaurant, until 1994. She taught in both the West Haven and Hamden school districts, and was involved with the Hamden Hall Parents' Association receiving the Headmaster's Award in 1989. She was a graduate of Southern Connecticut State College and did graduate work at both SCSU and Fairfield University.
