Past Parents, Ann and David Talbott of Guilford, Conn., died on September 17 and September 19, respectively. Ann and David were both 71 and had been married for 46 years. They were the parents of Hamden Hall alumna, Shannon Talbott, Class of 1990. Ann died suddenly on Sept. 17. An hour later, David suffered a heart attack and died two days later. They were inseparable and operated as a team in everything they did. Along with their daughter, they are survived by a grandson, siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
David coached squash at Yale for 38 years retiring in 2020. Ann served as "den mother" to David's squash teams while working as a bookkeeper, and was by his side at every game. For a number of years, they owned and managed Orchard Hill, a natural food store in Branford, Conn.
