Season Opener Win for Girls’ Varsity Soccer
The Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team took the field at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex for its season opener on Saturday, September 9, winning 4-3 against Wilbraham & Monson Academy.
Senior Lily Schoonmaker scored a goal for the Hornets while fellow senior Lily Joseph scored three goals including the winning goal with 28 seconds remaining on the clock.
“Good win to start the season as the girls worked hard all game,” said Coach Roland Joseph.
The team returns to the field to play against the Williams School in an away game on Monday, September 11, at 4 p.m.
