Norman D. Sills, US Navy, 1942-1946
Norman D. Sills, Class of 1940, enlisted in the Navy during his sophomore year at the University of Connecticut. He served on a PT boat in the South Pacific during WWII. After he was discharged in 1946, he returned to college on the GI Bill.
