The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team welcomed Canterbury School for a home match at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Friday, April 25, winning 6-1.
In the singles match, sophomore Rebecca Danishevsky won her set in the first position with a score of 8-0. Senior Theodora Aslan won her set in the second position with a score of 8-2. Junior Addie Lewis won her set in the third position with a score of 8-2. Junior Shalani Singh won her set in the fourth position with a score of 8-3.
In the doubles match, juniors Grace Yang and Linda Chen won their set with a score of 8-4. Junior Julia Bryan and sophomore Allison Yang won their set with a score of 8-5.
The team returns to the court for a home match against King School on Tuesday, April 29, at 4:30 p.m.
