Music at Hamden Hall
Our music program is a joyful rendition of expression, musicality, and rhythmic celebration via myriad creative outlets and opportunities. Our high school choral and instrumental programs are consistently recognized both at the state and national level due to the high numbers of musicians who are selected to perform at various competitions and festivals.
In the Lower and Middle School, the music curriculum is enhanced by our teaching-artist faculty, exclusive learning and practice spaces such as our specially designed music suites, and performance opportunities both on and off campus. In Kindergarten through Grade 6, students enjoy classroom instruction in percussion, recorder, keyboard, guitar, handbell, and other instruments.
