Max Helburn 2014 Wins Prestigious Theater Prize

Max Helburn, Class of 2014, graduated Cum Laude from Skidmore College in May. Max was awarded the prestigious “Theater Prize” for his work in sound design. This is the highest academic award that the theater department grants and is in recognition of a senior theater major who has shown excellence and commitment within a particular concentration of the major. After Max was presented the award, he got a congratulatory call from his former Hamden Hall theater teacher and mentor Charles Alexander. The call meant a lot to Max, as Mr. Alexander won that very same award when he graduated from Skidmore. Congratulations, Max!
