In April, during her senior year in QU's School of Business, Alex placed third in the Tri-State SHRM Case Competition at the University of Rhode Island. In this realistic job preview, undergraduate and graduate students from Tri-State universities and colleges leveraged their knowledge to analyze a realistic HR situation they may eventually encounter in the workplace. Several weeks prior to the competition, teams received the case study to analyze. Teams had five days to prepare an executive summary and a PowerPoint presentation of their analysis and solution. Each team made a 15-minute presentation before a panel of three judges followed by a 15-minute Q&A period. Congratulations to Alex!
