Class of 2022 alumna Francesca Dowd graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in economics and philosophy and a minor in sports communication.
During her time in undergrad, Francesca joined the university’s club lacrosse team, served as a selected mentor in the Economics Department, coached youth lacrosse, and was involved in service initiatives through the American Red Cross. She also completed internships with Yale Athletics and the Premier Lacrosse League.
Francesca was nominated for the Theodore Herfurth and Teddy Kubly Awards for Comprehensive Undergraduate Excellence, one of the university’s highest undergraduate honors recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Her post-graduation plans include spending time gaining professional experience in public service before attending law school. Her long-term goal is to become a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, combining military service with a career in law.
