Nursing Career on the Horizon for 2022 Alumna

Class of 2022 alumna Ava Vingiano, who was a Lifer while under the pines, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Clemson University.

During her time in undergrad, Ava was involved in campus activities and clubs. She served as the 2025-2026 president of the Clemson Dancers, a student-run organization that provides a welcoming space for dancers of all skill levels to take classes and stay involved in the dance community. Additionally, she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority.

This fall, Ava will be moving to Chicago to begin a Pediatric ICU new graduate residency program. She noted that she is excited to take the next step and start her nursing career.

Ava is the daughter of Board of Trustees Secretary Anthony “Bill” Vingiano and his wife, former Parents’ Association president Laurie Vingiano.
