Lynn Fusco 1971 recognized by Professional Women in Construction Org.

Lynn R. Fusco, president and CEO of New Haven-based Fusco Corp. and Fusco Management Co., has been named the first recipient of the "Woman of Accomplishment in the Architectural / Engineering / Construction Industry" award by the Professional Women in Construction - Connecticut Chapter (PWC-CT).

The award was designed to honor a woman who has been working in the architecture/engineering/construction industry for at least 10 years, and who exemplifies outstanding professional achievement, performance and contributions within her field, according to a statement. Fusco was nominated for the award by Lou Pepe and Wendy Venoit of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP.

"I am honored to be recognized this year by PWC-CT, and look forward to supporting the nominations of other women for the ‘Woman of Accomplishment' award in the years to come," Fusco said. "There is a great deal of excellent and exciting work being done by women in the A/E/C professions."
