Derek Schachter 2002 engaged

Derek Schachter 2002 is engaged to Jason Kiss and the couple plans to marry in New Haven during the summer of 2010.  Derek met Jason while both were attending different universities in Boston.  They moved in 2005 to Los Angeles, where Jason attended graduate school for psychology and Derek pursued a career in film.  Jason received his doctorate in spring 2009 and is now the assistant director of counseling and psychological services at the University of New Haven.  Derek has become jaded with the film industry and is currently pursuing a master’s in computer science at UNH.  The two are living in North Haven while they plan their wedding.
