Robert L. Hyde, Past Parent and Former Faculty

Robert Livingston Hyde, of Newport, RI, died on November 21, at the age of 95.
Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Faith, his three children, one of which is Peter who attended Hamden Hall. He attended Yale University, Episcopal Divinity School at Harvard, and Columbia University Teachers College. For the first 10 years of his professional life after college, he served as an Episcopal Minister.  His greatest professional pride was being a teacher. Robert taught History and English at Hamden Hall from 1969 to 1984, where he also served as coach and tutor.
