History

Middle School History courses at Hamden Hall are designed to teach and reinforce important reasoning, writing, and technology skills. In seventh grade, students focus on United States History with an emphasis on the 20th Century, while the eighth Grade curriculum introduces students to the concept of human rights through both historical study and focused involvement in modern social issues. Both of these courses will continue Hamden Hall's historic commitment to a classical college-preparatory education, while also helping students prepare for the unique challenges of the 21st Century.
