Christopher Bolster: Chris will teach English and history in the Upper School. Chris has many years of teaching experience including posts at Avon Old Farms and the University of Connecticut. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Albertus Magnus, master’s degrees from Western Connecticut State University and Middlebury College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut.
Dustin Huo: Dustin will teach math in the Upper School and coach. He comes to us from The Ethel Walker School where he taught math and coached. Dustin earned a bachelor's degree from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut.
Charly Kuecks: Charly will serve as Director of Standardized Testing and math teacher. Charly has taught at the Waterford School and at the University of Utah. In addition, she has extensive experience tutoring students and preparing them for standardized testing. Charly earned her undergraduate degree from BYU and an MBA from the University of Utah.
Alice Loth: Alice will teach math, computer science, Spanish, and assist with our Science, Innovation & Design Program. Alice has many years of teaching experience at both the high school and college levels. Her most recent post was at Sacred Heart Academy. Alice holds two bachelor’s degrees from San Francisco State University and master’s degrees from Case Western University and the University of Massachusetts.
Elliot Markman: Elliot will teach Lower School PE and coach. Elliot comes to us after serving as the Sports and Recreation Director at the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven. Elliot earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. He is also a proud member of the Hamden Hall Class of 2017.
Ed Molloy: Ed will serve as Information Technology Operations Manager. Ed has extensive experience heading IT departments in schools. His past experience includes a combined 22 years serving as the Coordinator of Instructional Technology for the Meriden Public School and Director of Technology for the Stratford Schools. Ed earned his bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and his master’s from Sacred Heart University and a sixth year degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
Meghan Moran: Meghan will serve as a Lower School assistant teacher. She is no stranger to Hamden Hall, as she has worked in our Extended Day Program, Summer Camp Program, and coached our Lower School girls’ basketball team for several years. Meghan earned an associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College.
Payten Nevins: Payten will teach Lower School PE and coach. He comes to us after serving as a PE teacher at Achievement First Elementary School in Bridgeport. Payten earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Herb Linn: Herb will serve as Chef/Manager and will be our primary liaison with FLIK. Herb has many years of managing and leading food service operations. Herb is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and also holds a degree in finance from UConn.
