  • Rogoz Wins NEPSTA Division V Championships -Team Finishes Third

    Under some of the most unusual weather conditions and circumstances, Dan Rogoz won the New England Prep School Track Association Division V championship meet in South Berwick, Maine. With heavy rain falling and the course slow, wet and muddy, 124 runners tested themselves on the hilly cross country course at Berwick Academy. Senior Dan Rogoz won the race in a time of 19:08. Junior Tyler Bisson finished 17th (20:40). Senior Max Feldman finished 36th (21:49). Freshman Alex Slossberg (42nd, 22:07), Sophomore Nathaniel Coffey (57th, 22:36), Junior John Gallalee (75th, 23:18) and Freshman Silas Newman (91st, 23:52) all contributed to the third place finish by the Hornets. The third place finish is the highest the cross country team has achieved and was a fitting culmination to an outstanding season of running. Congratulations to one of the best cross country teams Hamden Hall has had!

  • Hornets Finish Second: Four Named All-League

    For the fourth year in a row HH finished second to Division IV Williams at the CISAC  Championships. Max Feldman lead the Hornets finishing 5th (17:59). Dan Rogoz was 7th in a time of 18:06. Tyler Bisson finished 8th overall in a time of 18:41 and Alex Slossberg finished 12th in a time of 19:50. All four earned All-League Honors. Nathaniel Coffey (21:18), Silas Newman (22:09), John Gallalee (22:47), Joh Bacon (23:27), Brian Giacalone (23:35) and Michael Crockett (25:14) all ran very well on a wet and muddy course.

    On a wet and muddy homecoming the Hamden Hall Cross Country took the top spot in the quad meet. Lead by Dan Rogoz, who set the course record on the inaugural run in a time of 18:36, the Hornets followed with Tyler Bisson (4th, 20:34), Max Feldman (5th, 20:48), Alex Slossberg (7th, 21:04), and Nathaniel Coffey (9th, 21:36).
  • Bisson sets PR Goes under 18

    Junior Tyler Bisson set a blistering pace winning the duel meet on Friday in a time of 17:48. Dan Rogoz set another milestone is going under 18 minutes (17:55) in finishing second overall. Max Feldman was 7th (19:30). Nathaniel Coffey (20:13), Silas Newman(21:34), Klemens Gowin (21:58), John Gallalee (22:15), Brian Giacalone (22:23) and Michael Crockett (23:49) all set personal records on the fast course in Wilbraham , MA.

  • Feldman and Rogoz Medal at Cheshire Invitational

    Max Feldman ran a PR to finish 7th in a time of 18:58 at the O'Connell Invitational. Dan Rogoz finished 15th in a time of 19:31 on a wet and humid day. The team finished 5th out of 12 teams.
  • Hornets Finish Fifth out of Eighteen Teams

    The cross country team scored their highest finish in many years at Canterbury, topping all Division V schools. Dan Rogoz (11), Tyler Bisson (29), Max Feldman (36),  Alex Slossberg (37),  Nathaniel Coffey (75) and Silas Newman (116) combined for this stellar showing.
  • Slossberg Sets PR on Hilly Course

    The cross country team finished 2nd in the trimeet against Williams and Fishers Island. Freshman Alex Slossberg set a PR with a time of 19:58 finishing 3rd on the team and 8th overall. Dan Rogoz lead the hornets finishing 4 th in a time of 18:22. Tyler Bisson was 6th in a time of 19:05.
  • Clean Sweep

    The Hornets travelled to the Litchfield hills and swept the field, taking the top three individual spots. Dan Rogoz led all runners with a time of 19:49. Tyler Bisson finished second at 20:13, and Max Feldman took third with a time of 20:20.

  • Cross Country: Rogoz Shines at the NH Road Race

    Cross Country does not compete in an official school meet till this Wednesday at Watkinson in Hartford, however, several runners took the opportunity to test their skill against the entire city, competing in the recent New Haven Road Race along with 2500.

    Dan Rogoz not only led the pack at West Hartford, he set a new course record with a run of 19:23. Max Feldman came in second with a personal best time of 19:46. Nathaniel Coffey, John Bacon and Klemens Gowins rounded out the scoring for HH.
