Jordan Kubilus' single in the bottom of the seventh inning drove in Marc Cafasso to give the Hornets a 3-2, come from behind, win over King school. Patrick Falkoff hit a home run and John Lefeber was 2-3. Austin French struck out 10 and combined with Lefeber for the win.
Matt Pietrandrea's triple with the bases loaded in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 tie and put the Hornets ahead to stay. With the win the Hornets clinched the regular season Fairchester title. The much anticipated spring training trip to Disney World took place in March with games against Georgetown Prep, MD(lost 7-6), Portsmouth Abbey, RI (won 7-4), Georgetown High, DC (won 6-5), Sidwell Friends, DC (lost 12-11).
