Home Win for Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse
The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team hosted The Frederick Gunn School for a home game at the Skiff Street Athletic Complex on Wednesday, April 8, winning 12-8.
Taking the field, Coach Danielle Pannone and the Lady Hornets were ready to go. Senior and captain Angelina McKenna scored six goals and two assists while junior Lily Maher scored two goals and three assists. Sophomore Chloe Zebrowski scored two goals, freshman Liza Zuffelato had one goal, and eighth-grader Natalie McNamara had one goal. Sophomore and goalie Molly McGreevy had 10 saves in the net to secure the final victory.
The team returns to the field for a home game against Ethel Walker School on Wednesday, April 15, at 4:30 p.m.
