Game, Set, Match Win for Girls’ Varsity Tennis
The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team welcomed Miss Porter’s School for an afternoon home game at the James R. Maggart Tennis Courts on Monday, April 6, winning 5-2.
In the singles match, junior Rebecca Danishevsky won in the first position with a score of 8-0. Senior Addie Lewis won in the second position with a score of 8-2 and sophomore Anna Aslan won in the fourth position with a score of 8-1.
In the doubles match, eighth-grader Loretta Newcomb and senior Allison Yang won in the first position with a score of 8-6. Seniors Chloe Kissane and Julia Bryan won in the second position with a score of 8-5.
The Lady Hornets return to the court for a home game against Marianapolis School on Wednesday, April 8, at 4 p.m.
