Post Season Accolades for Winter Student-Athletes
As the 2025-2026 Winter sports season has come to a close, a plethora of our Varsity student-athletes have been honored and recognized by the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) for their outstanding athletic performance in their respective sports.
"We are extremely proud of all of our winter athletes," said Athletics Director David Doyle. "All of the individual and team success this season is a testament to the commitment and hard work the players and coaches put in this winter. It was fun to watch it all unfold and culminate with three NEPSAC championships."
The Co-ed Varsity Swimming and Diving Team won both the Connecticut Independent School Athletic Conference (CISAC) Championships and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Championship under Coach Jen Lyman with the Boys’ Team defending their championship title for the sixth consecutive year and the Girls’ Team earning their first title.

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team won the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class B Small Championship under Coach Brian Johnson. This marks the second consecutive championship win for the team as they won the 2025 NEPSAC Class C Championship.

Co-ed Swimming and Diving:
· Seniors Tyler Tagliarini, Cameron Puhl, Heath Schwarz, and Jack Shi; juniors Paxon Campbell and Alessandra Sticca; sophomores John Countryman, Angelina Nicotra, Josephine Nicotra, Phoebe and Roness; freshmen Rosemary White, Blake Zeitlin, and Alina Zhu; eighth-graders Arianna Angarita, Russell Clune, and Leo Connors; and seventh-graders Cassidy Clapp and Mason Ryall earned All-NEPSAC in both relays events and individual performances
Girls’ Varsity Basketball:
· Senior Tessa Porch earned FAA All-League 1st Team and All-NEPSAC
· Senior Reilly Chernovetz earned All-NEPSAC
· Junior Maddie Benigni earned FAA All-League 1st Team, All-NEPSAC, and was named Class B Small Player of the Year
· Junior Andrea Crump earned FAA All-League Honorable Mention and All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention
· Junior Alexa Huckaby earned All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention
Boys’ Varsity Basketball:
· Freshman Massa Toure earned FAA All-League 2nd Team and All-NEPSAC
· Junior Christian Cournoo earned FAA All-League Honorable Mention
· Sophomore Daniel Vincent earned All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention
Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey:
· Junior Andrew Feldman earned FAA All-League 1st Team
· Sophomore Landon Kaliszewski earned FAA All-League 1st Team
· Junior Michael Feldman earned FAA All-League Honorable Mention
