Donna Delfini Ely, Class of 1965
It has recently been brought to our attention that Class of 1965 alumna, Donna Delfini Ely, of Branford, died on January 8, 2019, at Connecticut Hospice after a long and brave battle with breast cancer. She was 70 years old. Donna was predeceased by her husband, Charles B. Ely.
Donna's sister-in-law, Joan Worms Delfini, also graduated from Hamden Hall in 1979. Her nephews, John B. Delfini and Ronald Delfini are parents of Hamden Hall alumni and Donna's great nieces and nephews, Kyle Delfini, Class of 2015, Cassandra Delfini, Class of 2018, Ryan Delfini, Class of 2018, and Alexandra Delfini, Class of 2020.
Donna was a lifelong member of the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club where she was an avid tennis player and golfer. She volunteered for a number of worthy organizations, selflessly giving her time to help those less fortunate.
