Home Court Victory for Girls’ Varsity Basketball
The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Ethel Walker School for a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Saturday, January 31, winning 65-51.
Taking the court, the team was quick on the tip-off and kept the ball moving throughout the game. Coach Brian Johnson noted that junior Madison Benigni was great on the scoring end as junior Alexa Huckaby had great ball movement and junior Trinity Robinson was strong on the passing.
The team also won its previous game against Portsmouth Abbey School with a score of 64-40 on Friday, January 30.
The Lady Hornets take on Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Hopkins School at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Monday, February 2, at 4:15 p.m.
