Boys’ Varsity Basketball Outscores Opponents
The Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team welcomed Williams School for a home game at the Beckerman Athletic Center on Friday, January 16, winning 73-34.
Taking the court, junior Eli Kingsley led the Hornets with 13 points followed by freshman Massa Toure with 11 points. Senior and captain Amato Civitello, junior David Tvardzik, and sophomores JT Huckaby and Daniel Vincent netted a combined 33 points.
“It was a good team win, and it was great to get everyone involved as it prepares us for the rest of the year,” said Eli.
Coach Sean Doherty noted that the team got the lead early and every player came out with great energy.
The team returns to the court for an away game against Greenwich Country Day School on Saturday, January 24, at 2 p.m.
