Co-ed Varsity Wrestling Takes It to the Mat
The Co-ed Varsity Wrestling Team traveled for a tri-meet against Marianapolis School, Pomfret School, and Taft School on Saturday, December 6.
The team won against Marianapolis School for its first win of the season and won five out of seven matches against Pomfret School. Coach Kiernan Griffin noted that sophomore Harry Chiang won his first-ever varsity match as he pinned his opponent from Pomfret. Junior Gavin Giugno and sophomore Trin Sukduang went 3-0 in their individual matches.
The team returns to the mat for a tri-meet against Choate Rosemary Hall, Hopkins School, and Greenwich Country Day School hosted at Hopkins on Wednesday, December 10, at 3:30 p.m.
