Road Win for Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse
The Hamden Hall Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to New London for a non-league game against Williams School on Monday, April 28, winning 13-9.
The Hamden Hall Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to New London for a non-league game against Williams School on Monday, April 28, winning 13-9.
The Hornets were off to a quick start and jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter. Sophomores Carmine Cariati, Gavin Giugno, and eighth-grader Christopher Scott all scored one goal each to extend the lead to 7-2 at the half. Senior and goalie Bryan Hong had strong saves in the net to secure the final victory.
Coach Kiernan Griffin 2000 noted that it was a great win, and the team is fired up for the next league game.
The team returns to the field for an away game against Fairchester Athletic Association League rival Kingswood-Oxford on Wednesday, April 30, at 4:30 p.m.
