Victorious First Match of Season

The Hamden Hall Girls Varsity Team served, hit, and volleyed their way to victory at Wilbraham and Monson on Saturday April 9th. Morgan Massey defeated Nancy Wong 6-1, 6-1, while sister an co-captain Taylor beat Michelle Ong 6-3, 6-1. Third singles Janie Motter beat Elise Dhamacharon 6-3, 6-3, and 4th singles Chrissy Lifton beat Chloe Snyder 6-2, 6-3. On the doubles side, Shin-Hae Lee and Sydney Dinkeloo fought hard but ultimately lost to Heather Little and Sarah Goolishian 5-7, 4-6. Chelsea Fusco and Simona Fried prevailed in 2nd doubles over Jess Duncan and Lucy Wang 6-3, 6-4, and Abby Ginsberg and Summer Irving won their thrid doubles match at 6-4, 6-1. It looks like an auspucious beginning to the season!
