Roth Wins CISAC

Freshman Collin Roth surprised everyone by winning the CISAC league championship at Bucks Hill Park in Waterbury finishing in a time of 18:20, beating the second place finisher by a huge 14 seconds. The Hornets finished third overall as a team. Loren Dunn (‘15) finished 13^th (19:23) and Jack Dowe (’13) finished 14^th (19:45) to earn All League status. This is the second time for Jack and the third time for Loren. Connor Roth (’16) finished 16^th in a time of 19:56 followed by Kyle Delfini   (’15) 22^nd 21:18, Ian Norden (’15) 23^rd 21:23, Michael Crockett (’15) 25^th 21:55, Nate Hill (’15) 30^th 22:41 coming off an injury, John D’Angelo (’18) 35^th 23:30, Luke El-Fishawy (’18) 36^th  23:41, Nick Neumeister (’18) 41^st  24:15 and Silas Newman (’13) 46^th 25:29.

In the girl’s race Anne-Sophie Neumeister (’16) ran a personal best and earned All League status with a 14^th place finish in a time of 24:08. Naomi Chang (’17) 22^nd finished in a time of 26:45.
