Hornets Hammer Chase

The Hornets are on a roll! After last week's routing of Cheshire Academy at home, the team took to the road to roll over  Chase Collegiate. Winning at #1 singles was Janie Motter, playing her hard-hitting baseline game. #2 singles, Chrissy Lifton, varied her stroke pace to gain a decisive victory. At the #3 singles spot was Simona Fried, who outwitted her opponent with her swashbuckling serve-and-volley style. #4 Sarah Haddad, coming off an illness and facing a tough opponent, lost in a hard-fought, well-played match. #1 Doubles Dynamos Morgan and Taylor Massey, barely broke a sweat, vanquishing their opponents in record time, and the #2 doubles tandem, Fabulous Freshmen Shin-Hae Lee and Anna Huether had some brilliantly strategic set-ups on their way to victory. At #3 doubles, Abby Ginsberg and Summer Irving played some stellar persistence points and were rewarded with a solid win. Way to go into the homestretch, Hornets!
